This site is essentially the TMZ version of parenting. If you don’t know what TMZ is, you probably won’t enjoy the blog. I’ll be updating a couple of times a week sharing tidbits of what it’s like to be a first time mom on maternity leave (aka on house arrest with child). I’m mostly writing this because no one else will listen to me (my husband can only take so much of me complaining about Huggies’ false advertising…what exactly, Huggies, do you “hug”?). I love you Internet.

I think this blog is a wonderful idea and there are few women smart and funny enough to pull it off! You are the exact person for the job. I don’t have kids, but I know you will keep me laughing while learning some key things before I do have them.
The old Ally is still in there, she’s just added a new dimension.
